Program Details
What you will learn
Centred around CodeCademy’s Full-Stack Software Engineer career path, you will learn to master the tools that front-end developers use every day, from HTML to React, plus server-side back-end JavaScript libraries with Express.js.
You will also go beyond the front-end and learn to build the back-end of a web application and even create your own API’s.
Troughout the program you will build portfolio-worthy projects while you learn, so you can show recruiters your skills and kick-start your career as a web developer.

Bi-weekly check-ins with industry professionals ensure you will be supported throughout your learning journey.

Admission requirements
To be accepted for the program, we are looking for the following qualifications in applicants:
- Be a citizen of Curaçao
- Having grit , determination and intrinsic motivation
- Have a willingness to develop technical IT knowledge
- Demonstrable ability at the level of Higher Professional Education (HBO)
- Proficiency in English
Admission proces
The admission process works as follows:
- Enrol using the enrolment form. When the enrolment request is received, the candidate will be invited for an online intake interview.
- Intake interview. During this interview, the program details, expectations, background, motivation and qualifications will be discussed.
- If, as a result of the intake, both parties wish to proceed, the candidate may formally enrol for the program.
3 Strikes Incentive Scheme
To incentivise students to finish the program in its entirety, we have opted for a “3-strikes out” incentive scheme. The scheme works as follows. At the start of the program, the student provides an upfront deposit of ANG. 400,-.
However, failing to meet the scheduled learning objectives during the course, will result in a strike. For each consecutive time a student fails to meet the scheduled learning objective, another strike is incurred. Three strikes will result in exclusion from the program. At that point the total progress of the student will be evaluated and expressed in a percentage. This percentage of the deposit will then be reimbursed.
If the student is back on track before incurring 3 strikes , the number of accumulated strikes will be reset to zero.
If the entire program has been completed, this deposit will be reimbursed in full. And the program will effectively be free.
