So you decided you want to learn to code. But you are not sure about the programming language you should choose to invest your time and effort in? You may have heard about Python, Java, Javascript, C, C++, Swift or some other language and don’t know where to start.
I wish I could provide a straight forward answer about which language would be best to master. But unfortunately, as whit most IT related decisions, its not that simple. I know, this doesn’t help.
But some languages are best for one scenario, and others for other scenarios. Each language has its own set of pro’s and cons. And when you are starting out it is difficult to evaluate those.
One way to go is to determine which programming language is most popular. A useful way to find this out is to search the web and do the research. Never trusting just a single source.
A nice place to start is with the following two useful website providing a ongoing ranking of languages.
But a quick glance at each of those will show a different ranking for programming languages.

Generally speaking, I would recommend subscribing to all youtube channels which helped you in gaining useful insights.
